Sian, I wanted to thank you for all your help – the event was a huge success and everyone commented that the room looked great thanks to your props!
I am sure we will have other events in the future so will be in touch.
Thanks for all your help.

Sian, please pass on my thanks for the stunning palm trees.
The night went down a storm. The palm trees added to the elegance of the event. Well done!

Dear Sian and staff at Celtic Prop Hire
I must firstly apologise for my tardy response to thanking you for the wonderful supply of props to stage Maesteg Town Council World War One Exhibition. Me and the team were so excited unpacking the items, handling them, remembering similar in our lives and creating the scenes.
We were equally sad packing them all away as we had got so familiar with the props over the two weeks and had so enjoyed people's joy and enthusiasm as they explored the scenes. We drew approaching 1600 people to the exhibition and on the last day Carwyn Jones, FIrst Minister made a surprise visit to the exhibition on his way to Normandy to mark the 70th anniversary of the landings. We received a very complimentary letter.
We are so grateful for your help - easily said, but we wouldn't have done it without you.
I am pleased to attached some photographs for you to see how we used your props. Please feel free to use them in any way to promote the wonderful service and supply of Celtic Prop Hire.
On behalf of Maesteg Town Council and indeed a very grateful self, thank you for supporting us to great a memorable and successful event. I wish you all the very best for the future and look forward to working with you soon

I have just returned a van load of props to Celtic Prop Hire. I am a freelance Designer working in the TV industry and have been making use of Celtic Prop Hire for many years. My latest job involved recreating Father Christmas's Cabin somewhere in the frozen North for a TV Commercial. As usual Celtic was able to provide me with a huge range of quirky and characterful pieces from wooden skis to an eye glass and a ukelele . I wanted a vintage/period feel and this is a forte of Celtic's. They have a huge and wonderful range of vintage set dressing from 30's picnic baskets, furniture and trunks to old time hospital pieces and everything in between.

As a freelance props buyer for both TV and theatre in South Wales, I use the services of Celtic Prop Hire on a regular basis. However it is in my role as a Part-time Lecturer at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama that I find Celtic invaluable, not only as a resource to the numerous productions produced there annually but also as a teaching aid.
Every year I am asked by The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama to lead their first year stage management degree students, in a Props Project. This is a five week project in learning the art of propping, for which Celtic play a very important role. Sian Bundy and her team allow me to bring the students to the prop house and very kindly take the time to introduce the students as to how the place works. The students throughout the project (and their degree) then contact and converse with the team at Celtic as to their individual production requirements. It is very important to give the students this experience of working with a professional outlet such as Celtic, as they increase their communication skills and learn to manage budgets appropriately. The team are very sympathetic to the students and their feedback on the students approach is always welcomed.

As a Production Buyer/Set Decorator working primarily out of Cardiff, Celtic Prop Hire has become an invaluable resource. It is the only hire company in the area, allowing the growing number of productions coming to Wales to film to source props locally. An important element of Celtic is that it can maintain a good level and variety of props as projects can vary from Medieval to Futuristic - choice is an important aspect of my job. On recent projects that I have worked on (Wizards v Aliens CBBC, Upstairs Downstairs BBC) Celtic has been able to provide props at short notice it is an important facility that many people working within an Art Department rely upon.

Whilst working on Stella series 1 and 2 (sky1), we have found Celtic Props to be a priceless asset to us as Production buyer and Designer.
Celtic offers such a wide variety of hire items which are thoroughly catalogued and maintained. I would say whilst working on Stella Celtic has become our first port of call for hiring props. There is such an overwhelming demand for such a service in the Cardiff and West of England due to the huge levels of film and tv productions being shot in the areas.
Sian and her team offer a friendly and well oiled service which could only be improved with expansion of the store, allowing Celtic to offer a greater variety of props to meet the growing demand. Just to mention that whilst working on the following productions based in Bristol we constantly hired from Celtic.
- Muirelle Wilson ( Production Buyer)
- Amelia Shankland (Designer)
Dear Sian,
Thank you for all your help on "Merlin".
As an experienced production buyer, I've always found Celtic Props to be a very valuable resource when working on productions in Cardiff and the surrounding areas.
This year I was able to locate and hire props from your stock, as I also did last year whilst working on "Casualty", and the previous year for "Gavin and Stacey".
Very Best Wishes,
Barry Greaves, Production Buyer, Merlin V
I absolutely believe that Celtic props provide a much needed and invaluable service.
Many of the Film,T.V. And television productions based in Wales would have a very difficult time without the support and dedication that Sian Bundy and the team provide.
The store has a good range of items and you can usually find what you are looking for.
Sian and the team are very helpful with tracking props down (if not in stock) and are always keen to suggest alternative solutions.
